Bio

As a legal executive, strategic business advisor, and certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US) with a business-minded, client-centric and pragmatic approach to lawyering, I can quickly add value to your in-house legal team and help achieve your business goals.

I have extensive experience in negotiating complex commercial transactions, software licenses, and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS agreements.

My practice also focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to business operations, hardware and consumer product design and manufacturing, mobile devices and applications, e-commerce, digital content licensing and distribution, data privacy, cybersecurity, cross-border and international transactions, labor and employment law, corporate law and governance, copyright, trademark, entertainment and media law.  

In my 20+ year legal career, I served Fortune 500 and start-up clients as Counsel to Davis Wright Tremaine LLP (an Am Law 100 firm) and Of Counsel to Stoel Rives.

I also have extensive in-house experience, having served as Assistant General Counsel to ExtraHop Networks (a cybersecurity SaaS provider of NDR solutions), Corporate Counsel to Amazon, and Principal Corporate Counsel to T-Mobile.  

In addition to my law practice, I founded the Grateful Kitchens Project in 2024 and plan to open the first Grateful Kitchen in 2025. Grateful Kitchens is a social purpose company with the mission to create opportunities for individuals to surmount systemic barriers to employment in the culinary arts.
